My wife and I purchased Bearadise Retreat in 2008 and spent almost two years making it into the cabin retreat that we dreamed of. Between myself and my Dad Alan, we have redone almost every room in knotty pine and updated the cabin to what it is today. We have spent most of our free time enjoying the mountains with our 4 children. Of course, kids start to grow up and become more and more busy in activities so we found ourselves wishing we were in the mountains but unable to spend as much time as we wanted. In July of 2011 we decided to share our mountain home with others and listed it with a local property management company. We quickly saw the downfalls in using a cabin rental company, both for the owners and the guests. We saw so many things we could do to improve our guests experience. We now enjoy handling the entire process ourselves. Bearadise Retreat became one of the most popular cabins in the area and repeat guests would always ask when were were getting another cabin. Well, we started our search for our second cabin in 2014 and started offering Buck Valley Lodge to our guests. With four bedrooms, a huge hot tub and a game room with a pool table Buck Valley is getting to be just as popular! Our favorite part of this business is talking to and meeting some of our guests from all over the country and overseas.
