We had a fantastic stay at Bearadise Retreat! The cabin looked even better than the pictures. It was very clean and perfectly decorated. The location was great and the owners were super sweet and very helpful. We will be back to this cabin in the spring to do some hiking.

We loved staying at Bearadise for our vacation. There were 8 of us and had plenty of room. The cabin was decorated beautifully and equipped with everything we needed. We loved the beds, the most comfortable we've slept in! The location was great, just 15 minutes from shopping & restaurants but in a really private location. We'll be back!

Three generations of our family enjoyed a fall break getaway at Bearadise and we couldn’t have had a better time! The cabin is beautiful, as is the setting. Our family had plenty of room for sleeping and especially enjoyed sitting on the porch, enjoying the view. We were secluded but still close enough to enjoy visiting Blue Ridge, Amicalola Falls and apple picking at B. J. Reece Orchard. The owners were wonderful to work with as well. I would definitely recommend a stay at Bearadise and our family hopes to return!

The house was large enough for our stay and had a great layout. Cozy and nicely decorated. The air filters needed to be replaced. The master bedroom smelled like mold and mildew. It was warm in the upstairs bedrooms and I’m very thankful for the fans. The kitchen was well equipped but could have used new pots/pans and a new toaster. Great yard with a wonderful view. The deers came up into the yard and was an amazing site to see.

We are so glad you had a great time and found the house to be large yet cozy with a great layout. We love watching the wildlife and the view from the deck year round at Bearadise also! Thank you for letting us know that it is about time to change out the pots and pans and toaster. The air filters are replaced every 30 days and were just put in 10 days before your stay. There was quite a bit of humidity during your stay, and we received notices from our smart thermostat that the humidity was very high in the cabin. We emailed and called to ask that you please turn the cabin's dehumidifier back on, but it never was. As I explained to you, with that much humidity the new wood in the master bedroom gets a "musty" smell until the humidity goes down.

All was great! The only 2 minor (MINOR) comments I have is that we paid extra for pets and we should have pet towels and didn't have any available. The other issue was that TV service didn't work in the bedrooms due to issues with Dish not syncing in those rooms. The TV services worked properly in the family room so it wasn't an issue for our wonderful week we spent at the cabin.

We spent a week here for Christmas with my elderly parents and my brother who joined us from Colorado. Bearadise was truly a secluded cabin paradise. We loved this gorgeous cabin and really felt relaxed here. The cabin was clean, well stocked, and charming. We lacked nothing and had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves. Shopping wasn’t far to get groceries or wood, and one night we ordered delicious pizza from a local restaurant . Our minivan did fine on the mountain roads. Thank you to the owners who always responded graciously and quickly to my questions. We didn’t want to leave this cabin! Couldn’t have asked for a better first time VRBO experience. We will definitely be back!

Bearadise was the perfect choice for spending the Thanksgiving weekend with our family. we were more than comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed the outdoors and fireplace. We have used HomeAway properties in the past as far away as Hawaii and found this one to be the best stocked one of all. Thank you again.

The owners are very friendly and send you everything you need in preparation for your stay. When we arrived there was a notebook at the cabin with tons of activities to do in the area. The cabin was VERY clean, well kept, and stocked with all the necessary items to cook for a weekend in the mountains, including a grill outside. We enjoyed the closet filled with games and movies! It was so nice to sit out on the porch in the rocking chairs or enjoying time in the hot tub. Our last night at the cabin we enjoyed roasting s'mores at the fire pit outside. Thank you for making our stay enjoyable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice place, deep in the woods, only about a 1/4 mile from an easily travelled road. Comfortable beds, with nice linen. Plenty of cooking utensils. The only complaint I have, which kept me from giving it 5 stars, was the furniture in the family room. A couch and a chair meant to recline, were very difficult to work, causing a very difficult time getting out of them. May just need a squirt of WD-40.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. This property had plenty of games for the kids to play. The kids enjoyed the fire pit an the hot tub even though we had a slight issue with it the first day but the owner quickly responded an solved the issue. I recommend this cabin an would definitely stay here again.

The cabin is absolutely beautiful and the pictures truly do not do it justice. The cabin site is gorgeous, as well, with a beautiful view of the mountains. The driveway is a bit steep and our first and second pass went vary smoothly but neighbors staying above obviously churned up the road a bit, thus making our third trip up the driveway a bit daunting but we managed.

We stayed 3 nights at Bearadise cabin and it was wonderful. Very clean, cozy and comfortable. The owners were very helpful and Mrs. Ali was very sweet. If you like seclusion, this is it.

Nestled in the GA mountains, this cabin is a perfect getaway for couples or families. We had more than enough room for my husband, me, and our dog. In fact, we hope to get a few friends together to make another trip out there. The cabin was immaculate. The memory foam bed gave me a much needed break from sleepless, painful nights of tossing and turning at home. The master bathroom was luxurious and very clean. The sitting room was both cozy and spacious, and we loved pulling out the board games and moves that were provided. There was another house nearby, but Bearadise offered almost total privacy from it. The raised deck was a wonderful place to sip coffee and look out at the trees. We've been to a lot of cabins, and this is the only one that our GPS has been able to navigate us to, so that was a huge bonus. The pest control was a Godsend, because I didn't get a single mosquito bite during our stay! Overall, the cabin was amazing. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone!

We had the most relaxing weekend - the house was perfect! We only wish we could have stayed longer!

I stayed there with my friend's family. House was very clean and well managed. I could contact with house owner by email easily, he answered quickly. I could find the location of this house with my GPS without issues. Unfortunately, I couldn't see any animals around.. we were expecting to see Bears :). so, we will come back to see them.

Ron and Sandy didn't miss one detail when it came to furnish this cabin. It EXCEEDED our expectations. Everything was in perfect working order. We will definetly be returning to BEARADISE for another family vacation.

Great spot for family with kids bc of open area with fire pit. Master bedroom on main floor is very spacious. Quality furnishing, very clean, nice porch with view, and not to far from downtown Ellijay. Will definitely consider coming back with family in coming years.

We sent my in-laws up to Bearadise as a thank-you gift. They are new to the GA are and had not yet gotten to explore North Georgia, and Bearadise was the perfect way to do it. Ron and Sandy were incredibly hospitable and friendly, and the house was just everything we could have asked for -- sparkling clean, beautifully decorated, and perfectly outfitted with everything you could need. And that porch! We especially loved the master on main/ no stair entry. Thank you for your hospitality - I'm sure we will be back.

We had a wonderful trip to Ellijay. The cabin was very clean and private. We especially enjoyed the porch, hot tub, and the fire pit. Thank you for everything and our fur babies had a blast too. It is always nice to bring them on vacation.

My parents drove down from Ohio to meet me, my husband, and our two daughters for a short weekend getaway. Bearadise was the perfect place for us. As soon as we walked in we could not believe the amount of space! There was plenty of room for the six of us and our old boxer dog too! The cabin is absolutely beautiful. The pictures do not do it justice. Although the weather didn't cooperate very well, we still managed to squeeze in a trip to a nearby apple orchard, hiking at Amicalola Falls, dinner in downtown Ellijay, and shopping in downtown Blue Ridge. We spent most of our time on the back porch or in the backyard with the beautiful view. The hot tub was so refreshing after a long day of hiking in the rain. We roasted marshmallows in the fire pit on our one clear night, and put the bocce ball set we found in the game closet to good use! We also cooked some meals at the cabin, including some chili in the crockpot provided, and apple pie with the apples from the orchard. The drive to the cabin was gorgeous, and not difficult at all compared to some of the cabins we have stayed in the area. Overall, this was the perfect mountain getaway for our family and we would highly recommend it to anyone in need of some rest and relaxation!

I would highly recommend Bearadise Retreat for anyone looking for the perfect getaway. The cabin is so cozy and clean and very well-equipped. It is beautiful inside and out and has plenty of room for everyone to enjoy. The view from the porch is amazing and is a perfect panorama of serenity. Nature surrounds you in this cabin no matter what time of day, but mornings has been our ultra-favorite! You can sit on the front porch swing or rocker and have your coffee and let yourself be immersed in the sights and sounds of the mountains. Truly gorgeous!!! The roads and trails in the vicinity of the cabin was a great adventure. So much fun! It was so perfect for our "Jeep" weekend getaway. So much adventure to be had that we want to come back again! And soon!!! The main trail is a great drive or hike (if you prefer) with great views and cool surprises! Ally & Ron (the owners) are very helpful and respond immediately. If you are looking for the perfect vacation cabin in the mountains, stop where you are - you have found it. Bearadise Retreat is indeed perfect, a beautiful home away from home. Easy access but well off the beaten path, nature surrounds you. Early mornings find you watching a doe and her twin fawns feed on the lichen at the edge of the yard. None-the-less, everything you want to see or do is just a short distance away. We were traveling with a multi-generational family group and found something of interest to each in the general area, from tubing and hiking, to antiques and wineries. Our youngest especially enjoyed visiting a petting farm and feeding the animals. Greeted at the door by a “Welcoming” bear cub sculpture, we found a charmingly decorated interior with more bears and antiques gracing each room. The cabin is spotlessly clean, with top grade linens and comfortable beds. Everything you need to enjoy your stay is provided, just bring your clothes and food and move in! There are even board games and movies, if you can tear yourself away from the lovely view from the deck. It was our pleasure to get to personally meet the owners of this lovely cabin, Ron and Alley Sandy. They are a sweet couple who truly care about their cabin and the comfort of their guests. It was difficult to leave, and believe me, we will be back to this lovely, peaceful “Bearadise”. The Hein Family

I would recommend this cozy get away to anyone! Bearadise is tucked away in a lovely setting with a beautiful indoor cabin and plenty of space to boot. With a hot tub tucked in with a mountain view- fire pit, grill and flat screens as well- its just an all around perfect place to go. The owners went out of their way to accommodate our needs, from payment, to making sure we got their with no problems and knew how to use and do everything as well as working with our check out needs. This was our first stay as a new couple and it was the best weekend I've ever had! Truly can't say enough good things- it really is.. Beardise!!

The cabin was perfect for our family of 5. It was well equipped and very clean. The owner was easy to deal with and helpful with any questions. We had previously stayed in Tennessee in cabins that were closer together and we really appreciated not hearing neighbors nearby (but still not being too secluded). We went in early April and hiked in the mountains and also did a day at Six Flags Atlanta. The weather was great and the area was beautiful. We loved coming home to sit in the hot tub at the end of the day!

We really enjoyed out stay at the beautiful Beradise cabin!! It was so warm and cozy on a wonderful snowy evening. The stay was awesome!! I will definitely be returning for another stay!!

We stayed 2 nights at Bearadise and had a great time. The house was just as it was described. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and having 3 full bathrooms for a lot of girls was great. We loved making s'mores at the fire pit as well as making a cozy fire in the fire place. During the day we enjoyed walking/running outside, just hanging out on the porch or hot tub. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We loved our 3 nights at Bearadise! The cabin and property are amazing, tucked back on Walnut Mountain. The cabin was clean and plenty of kitchen supplies for cooking & very comfortable beds. We really enjoyed making a fire and s'mores in the fireplace as it was 9 degrees one day! We enjoyed day trips taking in hiking and waterfalls, we will come back as there is still so much to see in the area. The owners have been great from start to finish.

This was our second time visiting and as long as go to Georgia this will be the only cabin we will stay in. Its clean and spacious and the views are beautiful. Has everything you need but also very convenient to main street. Perfect for families..

Our time at Bearadise is quickly coming to an end, and we are sorry for that. We have been leaf peeping for almost 10 years, and every year we say to each other, "This trip will be hard to top." That goes triple this year. The owners have thought of everything, and everything worked perfectly in every way. We have hiked at the falls, at Carter lake (had the whole park to ourselves!); we have tasted wine, apples and grass fed beef and bought plenty as our souveneers. We have all had a wonderful time, thanks to the owner's careful orchestration of directions, information and absolutely lovely cabin. Great hot tub with a view! Ellijay and the surrounding area are scenic and offer anything you could possibly want. We are so glad the force led us here; we all enjoyed the perfect leaves, fabulous weather and variety of hiking options. We cannot think of a single reason to drive the distance to NC ever again; this area has it all, and I think an even more beautiful assortment of trees and color. We look forward to a return visit! Bearadise is exactly as described, AMAZING. The mountain view is beautiful , cabin is gorgeous and sparkling clean. Can't wait to make reservations for next years trip.

Bearadise was perfect for my family of 4 adults and 4 children. The cabin was spotless and homey, without feeling cramped. The owners were available and kind when we had a question late on our first night. The hot tub was such a treat for the kids and adults and we all enjoyed s'mores on the fire pit outside. The cabin was cozy and beautifully done, and the fireplace inside was wonderful to enjoy on the late cold nights. There was plenty to do in the area, including just hiking around the cabin itself. The owners provided detailed maps and information about trails that were within driving distance. The app for the cabin was extremely useful and helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay!

The booking process to the final check out was flawless. The instructions via the Glad Ap were so helpful along with the directions. Its always tricky when visiting the mountains bc GPS can only get you so far, the written portion of the directions got us to the location perfectly, not 1 wrong turn. The cabin was very clean and fresh smelling, the beds were even more comfortable than the one I have at home :) We didn't have enough time to experience the fire pit or hot tub, but when we come back to Georgia we will be staying here again and making time for that. The owners were very sweet and helpful, went above and beyond for some requests we had. All in all it was an A+ Experience at Bearadise!!

From the moment you walk in the door this cabin/home is a delight. I couldn't get my husband out of the hot tub! We slept well in the master bedroom and enjoyed a movie while we lay in bed. We've renting several houses and this one was absolutely wonderful.

LOVED everything about it! I have to warn you up front that the pictures shown are not 100% accurate, the cabin is MUCH nicer than the photos show. We were blown away! My family is touring the USA from China and have stayed in six home rentals so far and this one has been the best. Everything was organized and so clean we couldn't believe it. The cabin was large enough that my family of eight always had somewhere quiet to go to read or relax. The log beds were extremely comfortable and most days we all slept in. The view from the deck was great as was the hot tub! We were only 15 minutes from town, shopping and restaurants. The owners were so nice, we had a difficulty with the password on the internet and he helped me get it working on my computer right away. They also helped point us to so many things to do while we were in the area. Thank you Ron and Alley for your hospitality and your wonderful cabin!

The five of us had a great time in the Bearadise cabin. We found it very comfortable - and the girls all said "wow" when they walked in! There are some great places to visit in the area, and we ate very well in Ellihay and Blue Ridge.

Upon our arrival at Bearadise Retreat we were very excited to see that the cabin was everything we had expected and more. The first thing that struck me was how clean it was, and how the owners had provided detailed information for absolutely everything there was to do in the area. We spent a couple of nights by the fire pit roasting marshmallows and exploring the surrounding woods. I really felt at home sitting on the porch with my family and enjoying the perfect weather. The beds were as comfortable as any hotel I have ever stayed in which provided restful nights for my entire family. I would, and actually have already, recommend this wonderful retreat to my friends and relatives. We enjoyed horseback riding and hired a fishing guide during our trip. All of the information for these services are provided in the information book supplied by the owners.

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our escape from Nashville to Ron and Alley's cabin - the location is completely secluded yet only 15-20 minutes from town (which was fortunate considering the extra food and supplies we forgot to pack). Between sitting around the campfire and relaxing in the hot tub with friends, Bearadise was a great fit as we were looking to relax and take in nature. We also hiked the Amicalola Falls, the tallest waterfall east of the Mississippi - only 30 minutes away! I'll definitely be back.

I can't say enough about the gorgeous location this cabin is set in, but the interior is just as beautiful. A group of us (9 young adults) stayed for a couple days to celebrate a birthday. Everything was taken care of for us, and if we had any questions, the owners were willing to drive up and personally assist us. What really sets this cabin and its owners apart from the rest, is I lost my wallet in the cabin (it blends in with the wood apparently), and they found it notified the head of our group, and had it in the mail the next business day. I can't thank you guys enough! This is a must rent property!

This trip was a lot of fun, the cabin was made of all wood including all the furniture. Very clean, spacious and had a home-like feeling to it. The owners of the place were very hospitable and I would recommend it to anyone who wants a getaway to a cabin in the woods.

Bearadise is a beautiful, and cozy place to get away from the realities of life. The location is beautiful, and the crisp mountain air is refreshing. We loved the creek that we crossed to get up to the cabin, and our doggies did too! We really enjoyed playing in the creek with our lab! I prefer the tub in the bathroom, over the hot tub, but if there was a group, the hot tub is PERFECT! The overall feeling of bearadise is warm, cozy, and relaxing! The view, and the front yard are spacious, and beautiful. I became intimidated when I started seeing STRAIGHT UP driveways, luckily bearadise was a comfortable, fun up, not a straight up. I loved having a FULL kitchen with everything you needed. Those little things really make a difference! I especially used the iphone dock to play music! Great sound, and great idea to put it in there! :) I recommend bearadise for anyone wanting to enjoy a rustic home away from home vacation. I dont think I will ever go back to hotels! I will definitely be a returning guest of bearadise!

My daugher and I just got back from our stay at Bearadise Retreat. This cabin was one of the best we have stayed in and we are already planning to go back again. This cabin is everything it is described as and more. The wi-fi is super fast and picks up great outside. I could sit on the front porch with my coffee and check e-mails, etc while overlooking the fabulous view, as our little fur buddies explored the huge yard. The fire pit was great, as well as the hot tub, and huge garden tub in the master bedroom. TV's worked great and the movie closet was full with something for everybody. My daughter and I both were so sad to have to leave. We especially enjoyed the beds! I don't think I have ever slept so good on a vacation ever, and I consider my bed at home to be very comfy. Just want to give a big thank you to Alley who kept us updated on road conditions, as we had a major snow just a day before our arrival. We were able to access the cabin with no problem and the directions were spot on. I just can't say enough about this cabin and will be counting the days till we can come stay again.

Never had an experience like this. The other cabins we have rented were through property rental companies, and none of them can compare. My wife and I booked this for our anniversary, and I don't know if they do it for everyone, but there was even a complimentary bottle of wine on the counter when we arrived. Fully stocked cabin, we didnt need anything except our own food. They even have a large selection of games and DVDs. What made it extra special was the personal attention the owners gave. They stayed in contact through email the week leading up to the visit. The only problem was the wireless DSL was out. I emailed, and within a few minutes, I received a phone call with instructions on how to fix it. This was around 9 at night I believe. I have ever even heard of service like that. The pictures do not lie. Very large cabin. It was just my wife and I, but you COULD comfortably have 8-10 people in the cabin and it wouldn't feel crowded. It was in the 20s during our stay, so we didn't get to enjoy any outdoor activities, but this is the best vacation we have ever had.

This place is secluded, comfortable, has everything you could possibly need, and the owners are friendly. I'd recommend staying here to just about anyone.

My family and I have rented cabins in the North Georgia Mountains for the past 12 years. We've stayed in small loft style cabins to huge 6 bedroom cabins. Without a doubt Bearadise is our hands-down favorite. It's large enough for everyone to have their own space but at the same time we immediately felt warm and cozy. The decor is perfect cabin without being over done. The location was great, we were close enough to town to not be a chore to run to the store but it's also so secluded that you feel like you are on your own mountain. We were concerned not going through a cabin rental company like we always had before. Ron & Alley were great to deal with and provided us with so much information on things to do and places to go. Alley even called us about an hour after we checked in to make sure we found everything okay and to make sure we were happy. GREAT personal customer service that we never got from a cabin rental company. We are planning for a spring trip back to Bearadise!

My wife and I celebrated our 15 year anniversary at Bearadise and we are very glad we did. The decor is top notch and not silly doilies and ducks everywhere. The King size bed with the 3" memory foam topper was like sleeping on clouds. Very comfortable living room furniture as well. The televisions worked very easily. The kitchen was well equipped. I made an amazing beef stew in the giant crock pot.The brand new gas grill worked perfectly. The hot tub rocks and we enjoyed the fire pit immensely. Our dogs loved the property and were smiling the entire time , like we were. We have been to a lot of cabins in the North Georgia mountains over the course of 15 years and Bearadise is by far the best one we have ever rented. 10 minute drive to whatever you need and a BBQ shack on the corner. Awesome. Ron and Alley are more than attentive to what ever your needs or issues may be. We look very forward to staying here again and will recommend it to all of our friends. Remember to stop at a local orchard and pick up some fresh cider. Best you can get. :)

The cabin was just what we needed for a long weekend with our adult sons. Plenty of room, half hour from all we wanted to explore, beautiful seclusion from the busy world we usually occupy. It was just as described and depicted online: charming, clean, comfortable, and well stocked. The decor was beautiful and interesting. Don't miss early mornings on the porch where you will hear the forest awaken and the rushing stream at the base of the mountain. Thanks to the Sandys for a first rate experience!

Wonderful secluded cabin in Ellijay. Close to all the activities in Blue Ridge and Ellijay, we ate in most of the time and just sat on the rocking chairs on the porch and enjoyed the peacefulness of the place. Beds are super comfortable, wonderful selection of movies in case it rains, and also comfy furniture in the living room. Plenty of space for two or three couples. We let our small dog have the run of the property and we still felt he was very safe. Bring a flashlight if you want to walk around at night, it is so dark but the stars are beautiful, totally awesome experience, hope to be back again.

Our family was impressed with the cabin's cleanliness and spacious accommodations. The owner's paid attention to detail and the furnishings made the cabin a true home away from home, The listing was accurate and the experience surpassed our expectations. The directions provided by the owner were more helpful than our GPS. The general area is suitable for all ages. Our sons went tubing, played golf and rented a boat for the day. A book compiled by the owner provided extensive information for activities, dining and sightseeing.

The cabin was perfect for our family. It was like moving into a new home. I could not have asked for a better place to stay. The owner's directions were perfect. The large grass area proved to be perfect for our dog to run about. Please thank the Sandy's for their attention to detail.

This cabin was more than I could hope for. The King size bed was SO comfortable and my dog really enjoyed the large front yard. The property was very clean, although I was concerned about a mouse trap my dog found, and set off. Of course you will find these things in the wilderness, but for a pet friendly cabin, the mouse trap was most definitely not pet friendly. However, we had a great time in the hot tub, grilling, and generally enjoying the peace and quiet the mountain affords! A very short drive the Blue Ridge, we were able to enjoy the Memorial Day arts festival activities as well. I highly recommend.

Every year we stay in a different town for winter or spring break. After 7 years of cabins our whole family agreed we loved Bearadise the best! Quiet, comfortable, relaxing. We spent the days visiting the Ellijay and Blue Ridge area and antiquing then had movie marathons at night. Bearadise has tons of great movies we love and some we haven't seen so it was a treat. The owners are very kind and helpful with any information you require. They even called us the first night to make sure we'd made it ok and see if we needed anything. That's the first time that's ever occurred for us! So very personable. The beds are soft and large. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a great meal. The living room is cozy with the fireplace and tv perfectly placed so you can enjoy both. Lots of movies and games. We played checkers, trivial pursuit and clue. This is the perfect cabin if you want to leave the world behind and reconnect with your family. This cabin would be great for anyone. With 3 bedrooms you have lots of space for your kids or a girls weekend away. Pet lovers - We brought our 2 small dogs so that was great. The cabin is pet friendly and there were no crazy fees to bring them. Romantic getaway - The master bedroom is huge and so is the master bath. The hot tub is large and faces the mountains so a beautiful view. We would definitely recommend this cabin to our friends and family!

We stayed at this cabin from 2/21/2013 through 2/23/2013 and let me say that was not enough time to enjoy all the things available in this cabin. The hot tub, the fireplace and oh that big ole bed in the master retreat. We had room for us and our four extra pillows required for good sleeping. We shared the house with my daughter, her husband and her three children and of course miss Tia, our four legged child. She loved the place and the kids were in heaven with all the movies available to them and us. We played multiple games of war with all the card decks and had such a good time. One thing I must say that was a "super surprise" was the bottle of champange in the frig when we arrived. Cold and waiting for us. It was so loved by all adults that it forced someone down the mnt for another bottle. We also had wine and homemade lemon cello. Gosh we had such a good time and it was big enough for everyone to have their own space when needed. We hiked up both the trails with everyone and then just took the two younger kids and man did they have fun..Their rock collection is much bigger thanks to the days at this cabin. If you are looking for a place to call heaven for a few days or more, just click on the reserve button and you will hear back from Ron and his wife very quickly. They answered all my questions and even called to make sure we arrived ok. They pamered us from start to finish. We will be back to this cabin again. I am ready now. Enjoyed the stay so much. The cabin was gorgeous, the decor was cozy, and everything was sparkling clean! Directions were very accurate and we had no problems finding the cabin. The photos can not possibly meet the beauty of the views from the front porch. The beds were so comfortable, I didn't want to get up! I would recommend this property to anyone, not just friends and family. The only criticism I had is that there is not enough cooking essentials provided. For instance, there is a coffee maker but no coffee. We brought our own, so no big deal, but there was no sugar. Or flour. And some cooking oil or spray would've been nice to have. I will definitely remember to bring all the essentials next time I visit. And there will definitely be a next time!

We really enjoyed having a comfortable and home like environment to stay for 2 weeks with the family as our home was undergoing repairs.

This was the BEST family Thanksgiving (2012) Retreat. The photos do not do it justice. It was a real mountain top cabin. The owners were fantastic and the cabin was very neat and clean. Our family included me, my sister and her 2 teen (13 & 15) girls, grandma(81) & our family dog. Everyone including the dog had a wonderful time. Beardise had something for everyone. Grandma, who walks with a cane, had a very easy time getting around the house, property, and firepit, because it was handicap accessible. The dog was able to run without a leash, and the mountain top provided a natural barrier for the dog. There were over 100 DVD's to watch for the girls to watch. The heated outdoor jacuzzi was a big hit especially with the cool night air. We had a bonfire in the firepit and roasted hot dogs and s'mores almost every night. The drinking water was delicious, cold & fresh from the mountain top. The cabin was centrally located and made it very easy to tour the area. A major grocery store was 5 minutes by car. Our 2 favorite tourist spots were Amicola Falls, which has an easy handicap access at the bottom of the falls (ask at the park entrance). The other spot was Helen, GA., an Alpine Village nested in the mountains. It was about 1 hour to Helen, but well worth the time to get there. Helen is really a "Do Not Miss" spot. We all had a wonderful time. It was one of our best vacations ever. The cabin and scenery were spectacular. I would highly recommend it to anyone. The owners were fantastic.

This is our fifth trip to the North Georgia Mountains. We usually stay in Coosawattee River Resort but have always felt like it as too much of a subdivision feel. So, we took a chance and rented through Ron & Alley. The cabin was spotless and so clean we felt like we were the first ones to come visit! This cabin had everything we needed and wanted for a mountain getaway. In addition, we loved all of there decorations and furnishings. The pictures online were exactly as the cabin was. We had some minor items that we had to call Alley on (all of which were our fault) and she immediately handled our concerns. We were blown away at the excellent level of service! We would definitely recommend your cabin to others and stay again when we are in the area. Thank you, Ron & Alley!!!
